I am an Artist turned US Marine

i believe, deep down, what we immerse ourselves in is what makes us who we are. makes sense anyways

what we are, who we are friends with, where we work, what we love; these are all defining characteristics for what makes us us.

if i were to describe myself with a picture, this would be it. this shows the viewer an inside look into my world; my loves, my thoughts and my views, without having to say a word.

from this, its easy to see the two different worlds i've immersed myself in. one, the real world of the military (being a US Marine) and the seriousness that comes with that. the other, the fantasy worlds of tv and comic books and the like. to me, its as if i've accepted my responsibilities as a person, as a man, to serve my country, yet deep down, still cling onto my childhood through flashy sci-fi tv shows and colored pictures on a page.

but that's who i am =]
